Good article. Remebering the 80s when I was teenager (ooooops I gave my age away) LOL who cares I am still young at heart!!!
I actually pictured Jessie's girl as looking like "the lovely Elizabeth" from the WWF. She had the big fluffy hair that I always wanted (back then).
it was a pity for poor rick that jesse's girl was out of reach, but from memory, following the release of that album he shacked up with dorothy...
This gave me my first laugh of the day. Thank you! Jesse's Girl always was and still remains one of my favorite songs. (Don't tell anyone!)
I still love this song, it brings back memories too many to list here.
I read not long ago that they tried to track down Jessie and Jessie's girl for a TV show (Oprah, I think), but Jessie had passed away and they couldn't find the girl. Shame, that!
