I just Loved the 'Fame' TV show Intro!
I always thought Danny was cute, but now I'm looking at the intro and see that Leroy was IT. How wrong I was!
With the recent rise of reality tv shows like "So You Think You Can Dance" and the others, there is a renewed interest in dance. If you have teens or tweens, they would probably still love this series. Watch 'FAME' with them and re-live it yourself.

I still use the saying "well fame cost and right here is where you start paying...in sweat".
Man my age is showing!
lovemaryxoxo, you are not alone in those telltale signs of aging!
I loved FAME too! I also had a crush on Danny, even wrote him and recieved a picture of him in the mail.
Even the song holds up today. Great, now I'm going to be singing it. Fame, I'm going to live forever, I'm going to learn how to fly, high! WOHOO!
80squeen, you wrote Danny?? HA!
I hope you still have that special picture!
Sadly I think Leroy died not long ago. One of those sad "Where are they now" stories.
yeah, head bitch, I think he had some kind of aids complication if i remember correctly. It was just a few years ago. Poor Leroy.
